There's been 3 iterations of the same punching and kicking devil arms, which are:
-Beowulf in DMC3
-Gilgamesh in DMC4
-Balrog in DMC5
Beowulf and Gilgamesh are pretty much identical, but Balrog has a thing where the punching is a separate moveset from the kicking, and you can no longer charge every attack in a combo but, in return, you get the ignite the flame thing.
Who'd win in a fight between dante w/ balrog and dante w/ gilgamesh/beowulf I don't think can be answered, they're too similar, but I personally prefer Balrog.
And I guess he'd probably win, too? Balrog has more moves thanks to separating the punching moveset from the kicking moveset.
