i have tried other hack n slash like GoW, but it's just not as satisfying as dmc, unfortunately

Just did some digging and apparently this was a pretty big upset at launch and I can't find any evidence that it was ever actually fixed. I found this list of countries that can't purchase the game, but who knows if it's up-to-date or not:

Heavenly Sword is a really good one, in the same style of God of War (so the action is very fast and reactive and less input based), also made by the same devs as DmC/Hellblade/Enslaved. It has a great story too, one thing this genre usually really lacks. Unfortunately it's a PS3 exclusive, it might be emulatable though

Darksiders is Zelda mixed with character action, but it's still vaguely similar... like the part where you have to hold down the lock on button and can't toggle it. The combat isn't very complex, but still is fun, has cool weapons and a great comic book/Warcraft-esque atmosphere. The voice acting in particular is really well done with the two main characters being voiced by Mark Hamill and Liam O'Brien.

Legacy of Kain: Defiance was made in the style of DMC1 (it came out in the early 2000s), it might be worth a try and the story and acting is also god tier

One thing I'll say about Heavenly Sword is that it runs like a dog. Expect frame rates in the single digits. I dunno if RPCS3 is in a better position to handle it right now though.

you might want to check out Wonderful 101. It's not exactly a "style action"
character game but it has a lot of the same design philosophies and complex interplay of mechanics that make the genre fun. It's directed by the guy who made the original Devil May Cry, Hideki Kamiya

Raji is pretty chill, but not challenging. Lament of Innocence is great. The original God Of War, none of the new ones. I would highly recommend Otogi: Myth Of Demons, which is stupid difficult, and more fun than the later souls games.

Something similar to DMC series, these like many have said, MSG Revengeance, Ghostrunner, NieR, and Castlevania LoS2 for that hack and slash. Something different for combat I recommend any of these Dark Souls Series, Mortal Shell, Code Vein, and Nioh.

Wait for Babylon's Fall to release, a game from the creators of NieR Automata and Metal Gear Rising.

PlatinumGames will also expect you to like SolCresta, a 2d shmup and Japanese game developers have this weird expectation that fans of ANY of their games will like ALL of them for no other reason than because the consumer chose to game on PC

As a lot have said, the Ninja Gaiden Master Collection is a good option, just bear in mind that Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is a bit broken, at least for the Steam release. A few others I can think of would be;

Speaking of Babylon's Fall (and considering my biases as a beta tester), i feel like that game HAS the potential to be a better Devil May Cry game than DMC5 if you don't mind a loot-driven gameplay loop. That said, what i played from the beta is still pretty far from that potential, though I honestly had more fun with what i've seen of the beta more than i have with Near A Tomato.
