I am having trouble finding the part where it talks about latency. Maybe you point to me where exactly on the page it talks about this? Also the bit about inviting a friend over to the "party" instead of hoping to get matched up with them even though, and especially because they are in a different region altogether.
DMC5 is primarily a solo game and out of 20 missions only 2 have real co-op if you are lucky enough to connect with someone. For story reasons the CO-OP trainer is not a good entry point to the DMC5 universe, but if you don't care about that then sure why not. Though I'm not sure if it's even going to work with a fresh save file. While the trainer allows 4 player co-op, I don't think it will let you play with the same character and I don't know if it will let you choose a different character if you didn't unlock him first.
