what's the point of V's inner world in mission 14?
I get it DmC Devil may Cry was a thing! but why you put that "awaken the inner demon" for V?
V was degrading, yes, but he said "this dimensions... is.. healing me...?" sorry what??
in terms of Healthbars, you're doing just fine by that point, and V's still degrading just as bad when he wakes up
was it a excuse for a bossrush or something? well... in DMC1 Mundus made Dante have a hallucination when he entered the psuedo demon realm and in DMC3 Arkhan got the fallen demon to warden the portal to Force Edge / DSS, can't you the intended mission 18 bossrush and say V's Familiar is what making keep the Qliphod because Nelo Angelo and Urizen are overpowering V's will?

Awakening the inner demon is always a thing. I guess the mind palace is like DmC, but those segments weren't just white rooms lol

Yeah that's gameplay, the point is that he's on the verge of death and the dimension heals him enough to go on, not that it actually fixed him

he isn't much better afterwards either way... that segment could be skipped and no one would notice, when he stab's Urizen he was saying "if you can't be a dead amn, you're with a foot in a grave yourself"
just... "I'm healed enough to need a shoulder to hold AND a cane to walk" doesn't feels like he's healed any more than he already was in the prior mission

You got something wrong:

Later, V quotes a poetry from William Blake:

14 mission, shows the fortitude of V, and gameplay is the final fight V (Boss rush). All this is important.

If you were watching the cutscenes, the sub dimension is a trap set by Malphas.

that's what I've mean with "if you can't be a dead man, you're with a foot in a grave yourself" there's no healing whatsoever
infact... it could be argued that before V talked to Trish, he was doing well enough to read Urizen, only when he set foot on the Qliphod that he begins to degrade, it kinda feels like they forgot that Vegil was near death before getting the Yamato and after that cutscene they needed to put that anywhere in the story

V began to crumble before Qliphoth, after he woke Dante.

The point of what V said isn't that they are both near death.
The point is that for all his power, Urizen is still weak.

like I said "it could be argued"
you could as well say that V was just too weak to use Sparda and if that "i'm the side of Vergil that stuck with the corruption" scene with Trish, was not a thing, V would made to the top of Qliphod without problem
at any point you could say "this is were V started Degrading" and be right or wrong, but you also say "it's because it's too weak"

on a sidenote, Griphon kept saying if V dies, they die too, and while V "technically" didn't died, the still were alive without V, again, it could be argued that Nightmare was keeping them alive with he's demon powers, but you could also say that they still had their own on demon power left and were degrading faster than V after he disappeared

Considering that in the Bloody Palace V defeats both Urizen and Vergil himself, he could have dealt with everything on his own :DMCJester2:
