DMD is TOO HARD
What kinda BS difficulty mode is this? its on dark souls level where you get hit twice you die but the enemy takes 600 hits to kill (even basic enemies) and my god I can't even get past Goliath on Vergil after using 3 gold orbs gonna neck myself on this BS difficulty. Everything is just a bullet sponge and it takes 10 years to dodge goliaths ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 600 metre arm swings and unblockable gut tornado. I thought vergil is supposed to be op but im getting my ass whooped more than when I somehow beat him with nero on dmd. I hate this difficulty but I dont see a point in playing this game on noob son of sparda mode with vergil cause it will just be too cheese.

I just finished DMD mode with Vergil, so I'll drop a few tips for you. I would suggest running SoS mode first to become accustomed to his play style and the enemy behavior again. You probably beat DMD awhile ago, so you might just be a little rusty.
- Try using the trick ability to dodge (should be B or O button depending on your pad).
- Save your Sin DT for the gut tornado move. I never got absorbed when I was in SDT.
- When in Sin DT, fill 2 Concentration Levels and use the Hell on Earth ability (Beowulf). This move is a boss killer.
-You can usually break out of grab-type attacks by activating Doppelganger (regular DT).

You're crazy DMD is amazing. :DMCJester1:
Just so you know, you cannot get worthy of legend or most of the other achievements with vergil.

DMD deffo takes time to get use to, sadly V is very weak so he’ll have the worst missions, Nero’s buster arm is hella good against proto angelos and ragtime is a saviour, Dante probs best to get down some long air combos and learn to use quadruple S since it’s very good for damage and stun potential.

V is hard to give tips with, nightmare is pretty much your saviour, his side dash or slide is very good on avoiding attacks so on bosses deffo abuse it if you wanna get past.

Rusty. try to use world of v as vergil. it's basically vergil's healing spam move. 0 concentration nets you 1 bar. but if you have at least level 1 concentration you get 6 bars of hp. easy to regain that level by just doing some dodging and air taunts. world of v works on the ground and mid-air. but this tactic cannot be applied to hell and hell :X

The thing to understand about DMD is that it is exactly the same of SOS, except that the enemies will now DT after a certain amount of time has passed in the fight. So normally you would want to kill all the small fry and then go for the big dudes, but that is counter intuitive here. It is better to try and switch targets often and lower all enemies down to low health before the DT kicks in, otherwise you are left with one or two full health tanks.

This is the easiest DMD has ever been. You should see dmc3 where devil triggered enemies swarm you non stop and you have to deal with constant projectiles or DMC1 where enemies can randomly pull out a shotgun and take off 3/4 of your life bar.

I just spam JC in mid air....game has gotten significantly easier since lol. I feel like that's almost just a natural part of virgil...like playing without it is simply gimping yourself. As for the rest of the characters haven't touched V or Nero ever since the release window so no clue but Dante is easy....blast everything with SDT lol.

Play the Special Edition on the PS5, which is a bit harder than the normal version of the game that came out in 2019. There the enemy does another 200% more damage.
The only enemies that give me trouble are the lusachias. ♥♥♥♥ those things, always teleporting out of combos, do massive damage from offscreen if left alone and have huge health pools. The only enemies that force me to spam JC to win.

Proto Angelos can also one shot you at like 70% health and take forever to die but at least their attacks are easy to avoid. Still trying to figure out a reliable way to knock them down though.

No boss has given me trouble yet.

Blistering swords i think it's called will make lusachias just stop what they're doing, as for protos beowulf absolutely just solves these dudes, jump when they attack and it'll parry then just dive kick them and boom they are down, proceed to style on their ass or just uppercut them to death sometimes it takes two dive kicks, hope it helps

That's what I've been doing lately, it just takes forever when they go red mode + DT since they're practically immune to stagger at that point, and I got to stay on my toes since one charged swipe = 1HKO if my health bar ain't full. I just always leave them for last at this point.

Yeah it’s best to just leave them they don’t really try get on the camera like most demons, when they go red and DT I wouldn’t recommend JC spam it triggers their attacks and charges but a tactic I have worked out is parry their first attack do an air combo till they go red or DT and stinger/million stab till he’s stunned then you should have enough time to kill him.

Oh, I didn't know you could stun them. Will definitely try it next time, thanks!
