also important to turn off SDT when he goes down since theres no way you can build up a full bar in that time. if you have trigger heart i think it should use only a quarter of SDT every judgement cut but ive never tried it without trigger heart.
Ah "frustrating" not hard, We meet again. The most common excuse by people who need to git gud, but don't want to admit it.
In DMC3 and 5's Dante vs Vergil fights, I'd die dozens and dozens of times and take forever to progress, but never once did they ever stop being fun. I'd eventually die right when I was a pixel of damage away from winning, and I'd still be completely thrilled and ready to tackle again to do it just a little better this time.
The nidhogg fight does not trigger the same adrenaline thrill. It's just annoying. When a game is annoying, I stop playing it, or I skip past the annoying part if I'm allowed. There is in fact such a thing as a badly designed challenge.
yeah thats exactly what i feel
S ranked it on DMD on first try. Wasn't particularly frustrating.
Of course it doesn't make it good. On the other hand just because something is frustrating to you doesn't mean your own ability isn't contributing to the frustration.
Just say the boss is hard without excuses. Admitting that doesn't make you less of a gamer or a person or anything. Trying to come up with excuses does.
