Vergil DLC has just broke my game

As soon as the DLC has came out, i've been having Fatal Application crashes

It's not just for Vergil missions, it's for everything. I've never once had a crash for DMC5 before until now. Any body else getting this??

Yeah, basically getting the same thing, though the exact four digit number after the "d:\\reengine\" line is different. Capcom made the game unplayable. . . guess we have to wait until the next patch.

i get the same, validate your files. It's making me redownload about 30 gbs worth of stuff

Validating your files sadly does nothing, I've also messed around with standard troubleshooting, but nothing works. This is all on Capcom, best wait for a patch.

I have yet to have this happen I am currently using the driver previous to the one that came out for cyberpunk so I dunno if that helps.

I reverted mine to nivdia drivers version 391 and it stopped the errors. Will probably finish playing before reverting to latest ones

Just get nvidia inspector and disable everything or partially that is different from global, it shows with colored icons what's different, but you have to do it before starting the game up to see the difference, if you disable everything in the driver for a specific game, then you'll know if it's the drivers fault, if nothing changes, then the game just needs to be patched again.

Using older drivers just for one game, and making it worse for everything else is not a solution.

Doom eternal works fine for me with latest nvidia drivers.

Guys, try going the dmc5config.ini file and change the target platform from DirectX11 to DirectX12, it worked for this other guy, i tried it and its working like a charm for myself as well, go try it!
