S - DMC3 , DMC5
A - DMC1
B - DMC4
C - DMC REBOOT
D -DMC2

This is my opinion.
What do you guys thing? , do yours tier list in the comments

1) 5
2) DmC
3) 3
4) 1
5) 2 and 4

5 makes Nero less boring, Dante has the greatness of 4 without being in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game, V sucks but at least he's cool, story and level design is pretty bad but its a step above 4. The achievement to S rank all levels is a crime when V HAH and DMD exists though...

DmC has good story, atmosphere, best level design, OST, etc, gameplay is under 4 and 5 and no PC lock on is miserable but its better than people give it credit for (if you like 5 but ♥♥♥♥ on the reboot you're kidding yourself lol)

3 is self-explanatory

1 is nostalgic and amazing but things like no level select, ridiculous DMD, limited movesets, hold it back. Funnily enough the level design is the best of the main series lol

2 is... 2, 4 is just 2 if it had amazing gameplay, the lack of distortion and inertia, etc in 5 kind of sucks, but I'd take that over the bad level design, OST, bosses, story, characters and grafficks in 4

I couldnt stand the reboot simply because Dante reminds me of Nero, a typical hot-headed teenager. I like the laid back-funny guy Dante. Then Vergil... USING GUNS? WOT? There are reasons he doesnt use them and DmC shat all over him like those reasons dont exist. Though I will say it did have great level designs(Not the best, but great) But "boss" fights were mediocre.

5 definitely has the best character designs, level designs, boss fights, soundtracks, equipment loadouts, enemy variety and the combat... Fighting Cavalier Angelo with Dante was definitely unforgettable for me, so much back and forth parrying... That ♥♥♥♥ was fun. Only thing that sucks about 5 is how underdeveloped V is

Vergil shot Ebony and Ivory in 3 just as much as he shot in DmC, and when you play him, and fight against him he only uses summon swords

5 bosses are probably the best next to 3, it has a couple of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ones like Nidhogg and Geryon but there isn't any DMC game with more than one or two great bosses lol. Level design is garbage though, you get a couple of fun levels in the city and then it becomes boring Qliploth roots

SSS: DMC 1 - Best Resident Evil game ever made.

SS: DMC 5 - Flow of combat is to die for.

S: DMC 3 - Vergil is reason why I never had sex in my life. Nothing will ever give me the immense amount of pleasure and satisfaction I got playing as him, so why bother? Would've been my favorite one in the series if enemies didn't suck so much.

B: DMC 4 - Great mechanics, even worse enemies and level design.

D: DmC - I hate the characters, I hate the story, I hate how fans were treated upon its reveal, I hate the controls, I hate the performance (played it on PS3), I hate every single boss fight, and everything pretty much. Credit where credit is due, some songs were good and combat had its moments, but overall product is just too toxic for me.

What the ♥♥♥♥: DMC 2 - Don't. Play SMT3 Nocturne instead, that's the real DMC 2.

I agree, but i put dmc reboot before dmc4

In DmC it just happened out of nowhere... There was no significance in the reasoning or the weapon he used whereas 3 he used his brothers weapon. It was wholesome, DmC was just random.

He wanted to n0sc0pe Lilith and save the world by killing Mundus' Spawn, that's as good of a reason as any, because Mundus didn't know Vergil was a Son of Sparda yet he couldn't just whip out Yamato and teleport to her

And DmC Vergil is more like an urban samurai like in Shadowrun, using guns isn't necessarily against his character anyway
