Report a translation problem
The wording on this implies that auto attack is a toggle of some kind that just lets your pets mindlessly attack. This is not what happens, however. If they just left it being called "Devil Trigger" and saying that in conjunction with a pet button (Shadow for Y, Griffon for X) it empowers them and lets them auto attack this would not be nearly as confusing.
Why would they put in a feature where empowering your familiars with DT makes them auto-attack if you aren't supposed to use it?
You can still control your summons while DT is active, it just fills in the space when you're not controlling them with automatic attacks.
