When do you get this and how?
What is it good for exactly?

you unlock it after completing SoS. costs 500 red orbs. it allows you to freely customize dantes loadout, so you dont need to have ebony and ivory in your loadout, or one of dantes swords. you also can take multiple of dantes sword with you, or unequip all of his weapons. if you do that and complete mission 11 that way, you get an achievement

Okay, I have a question about this. It says it "may make it harder to utilize each weapon's forte." What exactly does that mean? Are there drawbacks to taking this (ie does it make combos harder to use)?

buying the move gives you no penalty, it just expands your loadout to 6 guns + 7 swords and allows carrying variants of the same weapon, it also allows unequiping Dante's sword and E&I for that one specific no weapon achievement.

Awesome, thanks for clarifying. Very confusing wording in the tool tip.

nah, only royal guard and sdt as damage outputs. but honestly, fistfighting would have been pretty cool :D
