Denuvo is just cancer. I don't know why it's forced upon every single game nowadays. At this point I have no faith that the game will run properly the next time I load it up, even with the crack, because who knows what the next patch will do. Capcom needs to fix this ♥♥♥♥ themselves and tell denuvo to shove it. Nobody likes it, it only harms your system, and no one gets to have fun. I didn't pre-order the deluxe edition to have a broken game.
Although it's no relief knowing the issue is severe. If Capcom don't do anything and fix it soon - we might end up with all the bad performance issies, freezes, crashes, stutters, fps drops and other stability issues - forever.
It's been really 2 weeks since the game released and as of yet not a single Performance Optimization Patch from the Developers.
Instead we get a SNEAKY suspicious update that does WAY MORE HARM then fixing and improving anything else.
This is unaccessible.
The release version needed better PC support and further Optimization. As well as more Options to toggle (like AA Off, DoF) and set (like Volumetric Lights Medium).
HDR toggle and more.
And that should listen to their fans already and remove this damn Denuvo DRM!
Not to mention Cameo System is completely broken and RUINS the FPS. Even offline.
What happens if I just seller those files?
I don't want to temper with unsafe unofficial stuff...
That's not a real fix too.
If you can provide a link from a real safe source, I might give it a try.
But still, we need a REAL solution. And it's important everyone keep reporting issues here
And we can't stay with some outdated exe version of the game.
I had very bad experience from downloading from unofficial sources. It's an easy hackable window. And who knows how else it may mess with the game.
Yes, exactly, this stuff is dangerous.
I wish Capcom would do something for the consumers who already bought the game, but instead we have to search for fixes online and download shady .exes and fixes like criminals.
I freaking Pre-ordered bought the Deluxe Edition!
The mere action of buying and registering the digital key through steam is proof enough.
From that point any counter piracy is utter anti consumer ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It's both useless and harmful.
You already have our hard earned money Capcom ! And most of the buyers here are dedicated fans who waited wishfully for many years for this sequel.
Who care for a few idiotic pirates - these scumbag criminals may go to hell!
We who bought it lawfully and play officially shouldn't be punished.
It's not like their country theft measures stop piracy. Just ruins the experience for everyone.
At the very least make it a 1 time validate check - then remove the bloody DRM and it's performance damage!
DMC4 was flawlessly smooth, polished and non DRM BS from the get go back in 2008. Like it should be.
How do you know it has anything to do with DRM? The version before also used the same DRM and ran fine.
And my performance went from:
"pretty great" (could have been better if Capcom/DMC Developers released a Performance Optimization patch!!!
To - "pretty TERRIBLE!"
It's extremely easy to notice
Mind you I do play on 4K native. So every little performance issue is very noticeable, impactful and significant.
And every bit of FPS is precious.
All these 7 issues I listed above- are new since yesterday's patch.
See above
You don't know what happened no one other than Capcom does. Everyone is just raging for nothing. If there is an issue which I doubt, I'm sure Capcom will fix it soon.
In the meantime try and force a version of DirectX to run. I think that 11 runs much better than 12. At the moment the game automatically chooses unless you force it in the configuration file.
