Auto Assist keeps turning itself on after update?

Honestly its mind blowing that their isn't an option to just completely unbind the damn function. My suggestion is to create a custom config using steam controller api and make the lock on function a start up only press.

XBOX One controller.
Clicking the right stick on an Xbox controller turns on and off the auto assist. Annoying as hell sometimes.

The auto-assist button is bound to the "reset camera to default" button, it's one of the few flaws in this game.
