OMG Mission 15!!! (No Spoilers)
So I just finished mission 15 (for the 3rd freaking time) - on DH 1st run. Still no S Rank. Had to go AT least 3 times to go to all of the 1-way (no turning back possible paths) to find and collect all the main secrets.

I really hate this mission. It made me super mad.
It's too "open ended", overly complicated, heavy (performance wise), convulted, confusing and Overwhelming!
It's a WAY TOO LARGE map. The performance is TERRIBLE. Especially with Network ON - but even without. I had drops to be 30 and 40. And drops to 50 are very common too there.
Turning graphics down doesn't help either.
It's like the whole level is being calculated at once...

The camera is always so far away and there are like 101 crossroads and hidden paths and tunnels everything looking somewhat samey-samey too.
Most of these paths have annoying chaotic and camera nightmare fights that feels like a grind. Plus many of this paths leads through huge 1 way drops you CAN'T GO BACK from.
So you must redo the mission to get everywhere.
So navigation is a nightmare and torture as you KNOW AND REMEMBER you missed something or didn't take turn ages ago- but the game won't even let you back. Although it's jobs impossible to remember this level by heart.
Then you have the incredibly tedious Angelo Knights blocking the corridors with shields. That takes forever to kill then but way too easy there.
The horrid as hell Rocket Skateboard course - with all the red orbd - that leads to the Blue Orb. Which you can't do all at once because your Punch Line will either explode due to low style- or you will clip and drop down - from random gravity without being able to lift your board further. And the walls in between sections are unclimbable!!! So you jist clip and slide down.
You have other corridors with the annoying "traps" or cages.
And again too many hidden items in a level that's so freaking convulted, massive an overwhelming.
Not to mention getting S Rank is kind hard and replaying this level is annoying as hell.

Anyone else felt that way?

So far I'm kinda disappointed snot the level design and define in this game.
I think the Cameo system is also very bad and
detrimental to the game overall consistent experience. Especially the creative side and performance department. Limiting the levels creativity and depth.
Also there aren't nany boss fights and they are not very memorable to me, so far.

I thought I hated mission 7 but this mission is much worse.

I did like Dante's exclusive missions very much although I'm STILL can't get S rank at mission 10.

Just feels like this mission isn't something from a DMC game.

You can jump over the knights. You don't have to fight them. And the rocket punch part can be avoided using Gerbera. Go over everything flying with Gerbera and you're fine.

There is also another way, so you can skip that part.

I actually like it. Its neros last real mission. So it had to have somethibg special. In this case the large map with some plattforming. You even have the choice how to handle it instead of being forced to use one skill.. move.. or way.

Malphas also is one of the best bosses imho.

I tried won't work. You can't do the upper Punch Line course and get all the orb. Even with Punch Line it's impossible because you don't have enough style abd because gravity bring you down.
What's worst any this is that you can't stop on platforms because they are non-contact and you just slides down invisible wall.
It's really annoying. Tried like 5 times already.
Any way to really do this??? Even if you don't take the upper path - the lower section is annoying to cross with Gerbera (those invisible slops that lush you down)

I know you technically don't have to fight the knights. And you can skip. But when doing this blind - you don't know what you may or may not miss by skipping stuff.

So far I got:
2 Blue Fragments
1 secret mission there
(No purple orbs)
Anything else I'm missing???

As for thr Punch Line course leading to the Blue Orb (which I already got differently) -
How exactly am I supposed to do this?
Maybe I'm not using the Punchline Controls right?
Gerbera is impossible too because you lose altitude and can't take a break to reset on platforms

How can people have trouble spamming jockey? I mean you literally have to only spam it while hugging the wall. The jump to get to the highest blue orb next to the secret mission is tricky but also easy with spamming jockey to the direction of the ledge.

Trust me guys I tried. Specifically there's these "jumps" or "bridges of red orbs" between those annoying slopes. That Gerbera won't cross.

I got to the Orb from behind it by doing Level 3 High Roller and air taunt+Gerbera.

But I still want to know how you guys do it without falling. It's been nagging me ever since. If you can elaborate.
Is there a good video showing this?
(Not gonna go online because of spoilers)

Also, did I get everything in the level?
2 Blue Orb fragments and 1 secret mission?
(Also gold orb). But no Purple Fragments. Didn't dind purple Fragments in mission 16 as well.

Thanks

You dont even need to style on the enemies to keep punchline going. All you have to do is not touch the ground or you will have to start over. Whenever punchline starts beeping just jump and start randomly shooting/doing air combos/calibur/taunt until punchline comes back and you continue riding the course until to get to the orb. It isn't that difficult.

Not that difficult??? It's a nightmare.
I can't believe I'm the only one struggling with with.
How do I make those big jumps without falling?
(The ones marked with an arc of Orbs?)
Probably not using the right controls too.
Do you jump with B or what?
And I tried to do the jump to reset thing but I eventually slip and fall down.
And have to start EVERYTHING over. With these non stand-able platform/slopes.

I swear this is the hardest abd most annoying thing for me in the game so far.

I want to know how to do this.

And with Gerbera I can't cross the larger gaps too even if I spam. Are you going from the left wall? Crossing to the right or straight ahead??
Help.

Gerbera and an ability that nero unlocks later in the game makes this trivial I didn't even bother doing this the proper way.

You jump with punchline with your devil breaker button. You can press gun or sword button after your jump to perform tricks that extends your air time. When you start to hear some beeping, do a regular jump to dismount off of punchline, then do roulette spin and calibur while holding your devil breaker button and you will remount punchline and reset its timer.

Yesterday I won secret mission in that level, reached that part with gerbera. Then I jumped with air hike upgrade and then gerbera spam to get to that blue orb. Ain’t difficult to achieve.
