To all RTX 2080 Ti owners
Can you get a solid 120 fps in the gameplay sections on these settings:

Everything maxed
1920x1080
120Hz
200% Resolution Scaling
V-sync On

Yep

Thanks for the feedback. Although, could you elaborate a bit more? Also, I forgot to mention that V-sync should be on. Would be really appreciated if more owners could confirm this. I’ll be waiting for more replys. Thanks in advance, guys.

I get close to 200fps max settings at 1440p with a 2080. You could probably get 120fps at 4K with a 2080 TI.

i get 60-70% gpu usage 4k 60 locked with a watercooled 2080 ti. All maxed with res scale at 110%. It would be around 100s with 4k res scale 100, pretty close to 120. I"m estimating through.

60fps 4k max settings on a gtx 1080

My guess is not. That's internally 3840x2160. But getting 1440p 120fps? Sure. Although there are short moments in the game where the fps drop hard (destroying some obstacles in short cutscenes).

According to the gamegpu benchmark (https://gamegpu.com/action-/-fps-/-tps/devil-may-cry-5-test-gpu-cpu), 84fps average, 61fps minimum. For 4K on a 2080Ti.

1440P, all settings at maximum, at 100% resolution: 165FPS in almost every scene except for a few drops during cutscenes (still all above 120FPS).

Using a 2080 Ti FTW3.

Why the hell would you have a 2080 ti and be playing at 1080p is my only issue.

And yes, it will easily manage this. Can confirm the poster directly above me, with 2080ti at 1440p I get similar performance. Running at 130% resolution scale atm though.

Ewwwww V-sync is terrible.

The reason I want to play in 1080p is because my 65" LG C8 Oled TV can only display 120Hz in 1080p and does not have free-sync or G-sync (that's why I need V-sync on).

So, I would much rather play in 1080p, 120Hz with 200% Scaling Resolution and get a solid 120 fps than 4K@60 fps. 120 fps feels so much better and 1080p at 200% Resolution Scaling in DMC5 looks almost identical to 4K.

120fps is glorious in DMC5. It is so much smoother than 60 and the near halving of the input latency is really key to making the combat feel as good as it can be.

I play at 1440p everything maxed at 150% resolution scaling. 2080 ti with a 144hz g-sync monitor and I average about 130 fps. You should be good.

Awesome! Thank a lot to all of you guys for the feedback! It's settled then. Gonna buy The Beast ;)
(MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Lightning Z)

I love this game so much, it's ridiculus. Will play it for a very long time and SSS everything, complete all difficulty levels, get all achievements and even learn Donguri combos. ^^

why 120 fps? the human eye can only see like 24 fps! that is why movies are at that frame rate!

You need to read up on that a bit more, you are incorrect.
