Really? she's super easy, even on DMD, same strat as cerberus, enemy step to victory, either gerbera or the air attack to close the gaps or run away, granted it's not exactly the SSS strat, tho' you can get SSS doing it with enough pluck!
I really want to try fighting him with Dante or Nero! I think it'd be about the same tho', but you could focus on him more since height isn't an issue for the two, but yeah, mostly the lock on that's the issue here, or when Shadow decides he won't strike upwards on the vines.
I didn't have enemy step when I fought her the first time. Does it prevent damage from her running attack? I just got hit by that a million times from the ridiculous tracking and way she spams it.
Oh, well, the first time i just used gerbera as a stand in for enemy step, since I also cheaped out on it, tho, you shouldn't, enemy step breaks the game hard, it's one of THE most useful skills to have!
But it does indeed avoid that attack, actually, i'm not sure if I was ever hit by it? Otherwise, you can just time your table hoppers or the back+foward air attack as a makeshift trickster, or you could DPS it to death with a punchline if your dodges are true! Mine aren't, i've always had the reaction time of a potato, so enemy step was always my crutch.
I'm not that rusty, but I am old and suffering from RSI's, i'm also an artist, so it's double bad, and i developed an RSI from all the years playing DMC to begin with, but, if you don't mind it, i'd advise you to replay a mission to get enemy step, it trivializes most attacks, if you S rank a mission you get enough to get it honestly. Also enemy step is way more easy to pull off here, so yeah!
On the first playthrough on DH was a pain, later on SoS was a walk in the park.
Now Nidhogg is being a pain to deal with hahahaha
With how much health enemies have in DT on DMD, V feels at times tedious to play as.
But I love how AI can't even handle mission 7 and V just fanishes not even half-way through it. Knights are grindy.
What are you talking about? Sidestep to shadow dodge, back step to griffon dodge, V's actually the most powerful character in the game cause I guess they wanted to make up for the increase in complexity, but he steamrolls every enemy.
Nidhogg is a pain cause it's the only place where V can't move properly, but overall he's pretty versatile. His summons die but revive fast, especially if you double tap that Nightmare. He's pretty complex and fun to play as honestly, and since he's just, extra powerful I can see it being easy to beat BP when it comes out, the fun of playing as him is to find ways to be an agressive stand user instead of a passive one, at first I was too afraid and stayed far from the fight but learning the dodges and sticking to enemies back is really the way to go, it's weird, but i enjoy him. Not nidhogg, cause, granted, its an issue with every character, the lock on is ♥♥♥♥ and also apparently dosent work when jumping, I cannot change my lock with a button press midair i have to release and pray it'll actually lock on to the other thing i want, maybe its a bug on my side, but can only PRESS change lock when both feet are on the ground, it weird.
