Holy S***, SOS mode is hard af

I used total 8 gold orbs for mission 17, 18, 19 and 20

8 ??? wtf dude u are bad as f........ i only use red orbs once in the fight dante vs vergil (No urizen) and 1 gold orb in vergil vs nero.... Now.... talking about Dante Must Die.... thats another history i know for sure im gonna get my as kicked

its not believably hard until you can get killed in one or two hits like in DmD

I've S ranked everything so far on SoS, about to start Mission 8. I'm looking forward to the changes SoS does for 17-20.

I'm enjoying SoS mode so far except for how tanky some of the demons are. Especially the singing / flying boss. IMO I would rather fight more demons then have to hit the same ones over and over again. The protaganist in the game use legendary demon blades or heavy weaponry. I want to feel like more damage is being done.

Yea it's significantly more difficult...no worries my friend. Enjoy it how you can...if you have to use gold orbs go for it. Just don't buy any of that ****, the game gives you way more then enough.

the game is definitely harder than dmc 4, but most of us havnt been playing 5 for a long time and most of the enemies pattern feels more randomized than 4, also some of the enemies are unnecessary tanky. if you compare dmc 4 frost and assault with dmc 5 riot and chaos, they takes too long too kill

As hard as SoS difficulty is, DMD difficulty is much harder. Though those super costumes are well worth it. Now when I play it they add much more fun to the game.

It doesn’t really count as a success if you used Gold Orbs to brute force a win with revives, though.
