Vergil vs Dante fight...... sucks.

Huge fan of DMC. Played the absolute hell out of 1, 3 and 4.

Gotta tell ya, this fight is the least fun of all the battles of the brothers in the entire series. It just feels like a big bag of gimicks. Anyone else feel the same? IMO extremely dissapointing.

Rest of the game is pretty awesome aside from the extremely bland level design.

Nah it feels like how 3 did it both times but more over the top.

I was never a fan of their fights. There is nothing I hate more in boss fights than a boss you can't touch.

You are very wrong... For a guy like me who grew up on devil may cry liked the fight... Just like in third one...

it was boring to say the least i legit mashed through ti with DT on could be a problem on SOS or DMD but we'll see

SoS is barely different. He just has more health and some moves come out faster. Nothing over the top though.

the problem is vergil only has yamato, so he is basically vergil from mission 7 in DMC3. aka the worst one out of the 3

That is not true. In mission 7, Vergil didn't use Devil Trigger. So it's not exactly the same. But I suppose Beowulf is missing, to make it a bit more interesting.

Instead he has jetfighter mode and shadow clones. Surely we can consider this tradeoff.
