What you’re really here to do is play Dante, though.
Once you beat Son of Sparda mode, as Dante you can literally have every single sword and gun equipped at the same time, so the possibilities are almost endless.
I do get the combat, getting SSS is rather easy thanks to devil breakers and Nightmare. It's just the way it "feels" that bothers me.
Also the dodge timing is a bit weird in this one. Not bad, but I swear I pulled off perfect dodges with Dante a couple times but they just didn't register.
Anyways I still love DMC 5, but maybe these were why you felt the combat was off?
