Choosing characters
Is there any downside to choosing one over another? For example i font really like Nero and will pick Dante or V given the choice. Am i missing anything?

There is no downside. Pick which you want to play first, then replay it a 2nd and 3rd time for the other characters, if you want. It's a short one but fun. I've replayed several times ^.^

Happy hunting!

Usually when you pick a character. the other characters that can be picked will either be controlled by other players or recordings of other players/the DMC dev team. (You can tell if a player is actively controlling another character by the "signal" icon above their name. in the Starring listing. If there is no signal icon. it's a recording of another player.)

The main downside to not picking Nero is that you didn't pick Nero. While this is a cardinal sin to us of the Church of Buster, we cannot stop you.

But seriously, pick Nero. Equip Buster Arm. Enjoy doing horrible, sadistic things to demons.

I find him to micro intensive. Not being able to change arms at will is also really annoying.
