This game is short asf
don't get me wrong i love it, really it's an amazing game and i can't wait for bloody palace, still i cannot complain about the length of it, i finish the game in less then 10 hours, this is literally nothing for a game that cost this much.
am i the only one?

DMC games are meant to be played over and over again, and 10 hours is about each title in the series' length. Not too short, not too long, in my opinion.

Open world games where 70% of your time is spent running around doing nothing is ruining peoples perception of game length.

DMC games are about replay value. Start again on a higher difficulty, you have Son of Sparda(hard) and dante must die(extremely hard) to finish, they'll give you your time's worth trust me

its actually the longest one in the series (didnt check DmC). Not every game has to be super long, I would much prefer a better designed game that you can replay again and again and still enjoy them years later. where most long open world games waste your playing time on fetch quests and running around doing nothing substantial at all

if you play it in normal my dude..... ''human'' i just end the game in 5 minutes in the prologue..... but now try to do the same in son of sparda... there is no way XD

DMC games r always meant to be replayed on next difficulty

I mean even non-speed runs of RE2 are like 5-6 hours and yet people were okay with that. As long as it's enjoyable and has replay value I think it's fine.

Most DmC games are.

That's about the average length of DMC---.. the average length of action games in general honestly.

nah it's shorter because there is way less riddles and puzzles

DMC3 is the only one that has puzzles though

I prefer a tight, well polished, and focused experience that I can play at higher difficulties and get better at and 100% rather than, say, [insert any recent AAA title that's a bug fueled or overly mashed together, unfocused mess]

No.. DMC1 and 4 have plenty of puzzles and key item collecting too. Lol

Not sure about 2 because I suppressed that memory.

Damn, if you beat it in 10 hours you rushed I'm 11 hours in and I'm only on mission 13. There's loads of secrets that you missed, also Son Of Sparda changes the game a bit and the difficulty you unlock after that, Dante Must Die changes the game entirely, all enemies get new moves and bosses get new attacks too, and enemies Devil Trigger.
