How are the controls on pc?
Title, good or bad?

They're actually serviceable in this game. Devil may cry 1 through DMC4 on PC had a really weird control layout on PC where you used WASD to move but keys like KLJI to attack, shoot and jump. the mouse wasn't used by default and since the games had pre-set camera angles like early resident evil games you didn't control it with the mouse.

This game breaks that trend and has melee swings are bound to M1, melee is M2 and stuff like nero's arm attacks and dantes style specific imputs are M3 (typically your mouse wheel).

This game also has camera controls bound to moving your mouse around but it can get kind of weird to control since it snaps onto targets when they're around but I don't think this is a PC specific jank.

Other commands like dantes styles, taunts and nero's exceede are bound to keys close to the WASD keys by default which is also pretty nice.

Typically it's recommended to play games like these and fighting games with a gamepad but I'm a bit of a sperg and always use KB+M on everything and I can confidently say the controls are fairly well implemented in this game.

I did the sensible thing and did not play on M+K. I tried it for a mission it it felt...really awkward. Get a gamepad.

if your using a xbox one controller they are great tho for some reason capcom put remapping controls into the options indtead of just using the steam one
