DMC: Official Cringy Edgelord Game

My first DMC game as I heard high praise for it. I was greeted by hillbilly girls in a Japanese looking game with Kylo Ren wannabe edgelords with tatoos reading generic lines about "wisdom" from some book while he fights people with a cane, all the while white anime haired people use motorcycles as swords and say cringy generic lines while fighting and the most stupid skill titles ever: "Smokin Sexy Style"?

If someone asked me what an edgelord is, I'd tell them to go play DMC and they'll find out.

This game probably has the least weeb-ey characters of the series tbh, especially since their design has been stripped back (because of the RE:Engine) to look more realistic than anime. Not that DMC has ever been anything but goofy as ♥♥♥♥, over the top nonsense with the underlying message of family and love trumping all evil.

Again, this isn't a game that is supposed to be super deep or serious. If you wanted a spectacle fighter like that, the new God of War might be better for that.

I like dantes design, neros is "ok" I guess.. Not really a fan of the look for that new guy though, he looks way too girly
