Two people in the world currently.
Only played through Devil Hunter now and currently in Son of Sparda difficulty I still feel that V is the easiest, Dante the most versatile and fun and Nero feels like the middle ground which I prefer over V's mobile and simple playstyle.
Then we have the mechanic of activating his his sword at the right time so you get a fire charge or 3 of them if you upgraded to max and hit the right time.
It feels good when you keep hitting Left trigger at the right time every hit on certain moves.
While Dante has 4 styles I only ever used Sword master. Even then I rarely used the special button for it because it makes a move that isn't all that powerful on most weapons.
So it all just ends up me mashing the main attack button and evading when I need too. Also firing the shotgun every now and then.
I almost feel like they made Dante a little too good for this game because it is his send-off from the franchise. Also he has 4 different melee weapons and 4 guns to complement the 4 styles he has and each gun/melee weapon have their unique interactions with their respective styles that you can chain with other moves.
DMC is all about Style after all.
