Purple screen while playing DMC 5 on 4k

I get Purple screen when playing on 4k. My Specs:
GPU 1080
RAM 16Gb DDR4
Screen: Sony XF90 TV

Pleae help

im havinbg the same problem with a sony tv and i have a rtx 2080 i5 9600k

Try turning the TV off and back on when it does it.

I opened multiple threads. So I got a solution in one of them. Setting it to Borderless Windowed worked for me.

Before this I had to play it on 1080p. It works fine on lower res

The purple screen issue is a known problem with the Windows 10 HDR pipeline. The intensity is hugely varied by product and settings, but the issue will be always there. Turn off the HDR, and it will be gone.

Alternatively Devil May Cry 5 supports FreeSync 2 HDR, and this option won't use the Windows 10 HDR pipeline, so the purple screen issue will not present, but you need a FreeSync 2 HDR certified display, and a GPU that support FreeSync 2 HDR.

I turnt off hdr and it made no difference at all, it starts of fine then when text comes up in changes the TV and then I have a purple screen and after leaving the game I have to reset my pc!

Every time this Purple screen hapens when you open the game just go to options in game and change setting to borderless screen then the colors stays fine you can again choose fullscreen and still the colors pop right.
