You do whatever you want, man. But... really?
The console versions are almost always the blurriest ports/versions of modern games. Craptastic anti aliasing, 1080p, Chromatic Aberration, Motion Blur, and Film Grain, most of which cant be modified in any way. Youre going to be doing (or have already done) an objective downgrade.
The only real reason I can think of is to make the game look smoother when its running at 30fps. Other than that theres no real objective benefit to it other than some people thinking it looks good/smooth. Its never truly necessary.
