Unfocused thing are pixelated?

Is it just me or depths of field works this way? Everything that is not in focus not just blurry, put also pixelated like it's 360p

Probably a poor low resolution dof.
Depth of field is a feature that should be disabled during gameplay anyway in my opinion, it's trash. It can be fine for cutscenes or some screenshots, but in gameplay it just has negative impacts.

i searched for dof already but there seems to be no option in settings. anyway so far i haven't seen it as bad as it was in the first cutscenes

you can disable it in config file

I noticed this as well, and it's slightly annoying. I think it is linked to the resolution of the game.
