Framerate is pinned way high near 100, relatively max settings, and I can't figure this out. I'm getting desync and audio even cutting out on occasion. I tried putting the sound range down to low and it fixed nothing.
V-sync on or off doesn't make a difference.
I also tried editing the ini file and changed the value to DX11 but still nothing.
running 60 frames @ 1080 with rtx 2080ti
it definitely ain't lack of power to push it
I went into the steamapp folder of the game, then I located the dmc5config.ini and opened it.
Then I edited this:
Replace ‘Capability=DirectX12‘ with ‘Capability=DirectX11‘
Replace ‘TargetPlatform=DirectX12‘ with ‘TargetPlatform=DirectX11‘
Then save.
If it doesn't work, you can also set your refresh rate to 60Hz, then set the Framerate Limit to 60 instead of Variable, then turn the V-Sync ON.
For me, it did solve the issue.
Edit: Yet, there are still cutscenes which were not fixed by this.
