Ending 4 & 5

I know there's a secret ending for defeating Urizen with Nero. I've completed the game but endings 4 & 5 are still missing? Anyone know why?

I've heard there's an alternate ending for beating the guy in the prologue.

Yeah that's the one I mentioned. There's meant to be an ending with Triss, Lady and Morrison and then another final one with Dante and Vergil having the "Jackpot" scene.

I have the same issue. I read that you need to perform well in the credits fights, but I watched a streamer not get different reactions in the fights, and still see the extra scenes. They did get an S rank on the final mission. Maybe that’s the trick?

I got post-credit scene and S rank in final mission and still no endings that were missing. Also no 'a new job' unlock either. Somethitng's iffy

Oh I got the one with Trish and Lady and the one Dante and Vergil, I don't recall doing anything special though.
I got a B at the final mission.

What difficulity did you finish?

Huh... Strange :T I only did DH.
Maybe it is a bug. There was this guy who couldn't buy arms for Nero even though he was halfway through.

Or maybe if you get a certain rank average?

If I'm not mistaken you'll have to out perform Vergil in the credits scene to get the 'Jackpot' ending but I may be wrong

The first time I did it, Vergil beat me, but the game crashed so I can't tell. Then I had to do it again and I wasn't sure I got more than Vergil, i was not doing very good, but Dante didn't say "Okay you got this one".

As for Nero, I did much better the second time, yet Nico still said "Come on you can do better than that!"

I also didn't unlock it on my first round on devil hunter. After some research there is an achievement for finishing mission 19+20 without restarting.

I restarted mission 20. After doing mission 19 and finishing mission 20 right after I got the cutscenes.
no need to do well in credits.

Not 100% sure but maybe it works for you too.
Or you can ace the game on human difficulty.

Do Golden orbs count as continue? Cuz I used one for Dante.
Actually I used them for both Dante and Nero, but then the game crashed, and I redid 20 but without dying, and I got the cutscenes.

We need Capcom to weigh in.

Like the DMC3 credits, you need to kill enough ennemies to unlock the last two cutscenes. If you kill more demons than Vergil (or draw match), you should have ending 4 & 5 unlocked. Even if, with Nero, Nico says you need to do better than that, it should work as long as you beat Vergil at the end credits.

I somehow got both the Lady, Trish & Morrison ending as well as the Jackpot one, despite doing bad in both. Perhaps no continues means no quitting? I used no golden orbs but died quite a bit as Dante and once or twice as Nero.

Pretty sure you just need to be enough demons in the credits, style is irrelevant
