I got my ass beat multiple times by the first boss of DMC3.. lol (of course I was 14 years younger at the time..)
No. It's just to revive wherever you are. You can use in game currency or buy. But still, the fact that you have the option to buy is very shady because CLEARLY the game design must have taken that into account.
What annoys me is every action game has boss check points nowadays. Yes this is a throwback but can't remember any such microtransactions BS in the 2000's.
Mm, I didn't die yet so I didn't know they had that option. Seems lame, but I guess there is demand for it. I'd just ignore it and pretend it isn't there. I don't think the game has an unfair difficulty.
2. I don't know how you can't get past the first boss, I've been playing DMC4 before this came out and even that is much harder than this.
unless you were a toddler that probably was an advantage. ha. Back in the day action games were a lot easier for me so maybe that's it. I pretty easily beat Ninja Gaiden black then too. There is no way these beat up fingers and carpal tunneled wrist can do that now.
Do you have any pointers to beating the first boss. The big sorta yetti looking guy with horns?
I get it, mtx is gross, but this game is no harder than the og installments and gold orbs are for babies. No good game has mid health bar non formchange checkpoints. Imagine if a game just let you start over on a half health boss with no punishment. Yawn.
I can understand not liking the option being there but for me it is as if it doesn't exist. Throughout the entire series I've always refused to use those orbs (except in the first game, since they were needed for checkpoints)
Hmm, is that arm that lets you bounce in the air available? Confused whats dlc or in game since the game was throwing them at me. That works well anyways, air comboing him,or just making sure to stay behind him and not let him swipe you. Don't know his moves much
