Constant Freezing

Anyone else running into issues where the game will just freeze but still play music etc just the game itself freezes

i updated my drivers seemed to have done the trick...

Can't even launch the game. Get a flickering black screen or the capcom logo switching between my monitors and windowed/fullscreen. Currently redownloading the game since no alterations of the config file changed anything.

Here the game runs the menus normally, but as soon as I load a new game the game freezes Windows entirely and I have to force-restart the PC

hello here is a small solution for the problems of
freeze that worked for me i think the dx12 is
still buger so switch to dx11 here's how to do
go to the folder steam / steamapps / common / devil May Cry 5 and
opened the file Dmc5 configs and change the linen TargetPlatform=Direct
TargetPlatform=DirectX12 by TargetPlatform=DirectX11
it should help

I got up to mission 18 before this started happening and not it's happening every mission. I set it to DX11 and it's stull happening.

I've tried every "fix" / solution I've seen suggested, my game just seems to freeze randomly and the music keeps going, it happens in cutscenes, menus etc.

I've got a 6700k and a 2080 ti with 16GB RAM so my specs have 0 to do with it, other games run fine and I had zero issues with RE2.

Really frustrated as the game seems to run/ play amazingly well but this is really effecting my ability to enjoy the game :(

because at my home there is freeze also in full play

Mine does Freeze but takes about 15 sec or less to get back into playing. No crashes.
I am running the game in Everything set to Ultra and in 4K and runs a good 60FPS
does not happen all the time but it does get annoying.
