Both series are great, I hope both get continued going forward though I don't know if a DmC2 would be the same without Ninja Theory.

So funny so much haters here. DMC reboot was way better than DMC 4 thats a fact. But boy almost everyone is ignorant to take of their fanboy glasses. What do you understand about good games makes me think.

Looks like someone liked that all flash no substance type of combat Ninja Theory is known for. Nero's Exceed and Ex-Act mechanics alone bring more to the table than anything DmC did and that's just scratching the surface of what you can do and have to learn in DMC4 to take full advantage of the gameplay mechanics. DMC4 dante's gameplay is on a whole different level from DmC.

The Boss fight were even worse than in DMC2

the reboot showed us Dante as a child. very young and not even thinking of his "devil may cry" business. all other parts before that showed us dante as an adult and the aim to destroy demons. most people do not understand character progressions and were mad about the "change" of dante in the new series.

Uhm, I don't want to destroy that little bubble of yours, but... DMC5 makes the first book and the Anime officially canon. The first book is about young Dante (Tony Redgrave). So, you're absolutely wrong about that statement. DmC is an alternate universe game, nothing else.

But even without other media, whatever the reboot tried to show or improve, it was done already in an amazing way by DMC3 itself, 10 years prior

Can't argue with that. DMC3 is still my most favorite in the series.
Its a great game but its not Devil May Cry
stay in your lane
DmC Dante is good looking, maybe someone will mod his model into this game.

DMC4 was 40% forwards, 40% backwards and then 20% boss fights for the 3RD TIME!!!!!!!!! yes for the 3rd time the same bosses WTF??!?!?!?!?! and nero was whining only about kyrie.......

dmc4 is one of the most rushed games ever made. super good gameplay and combat but the story and world/enemy design was beyond garbage.

BUT I am sure they learned from mistakes and combined the reboot and dmc4 to a very new excellent experience.

So sadly is , every capcom game touch by that fun king kobayashi will be screw up , so if u don't like , go fun the kobayashi , He is the screw driver behind all of this !!!!
I miss for Lucia.
DmC is a good game. Good enough for me to finish it more than 1 time.
I'd prefer if it was like a side thing and not considered part of the main series, I did enjoy it but the main DMC is just better
DmC was a good game but it just wasn't our Devil May Cry.
That game was alright at best, it's too bad that the Definitive Edition which addressed a lot of the issues I had with DmC (such as lack of lock-on) was never released on PC. I might have liked it more if I had that version.
NO! I actually need a dlc in dmc5 where we can beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of the Bieber Donte of the reboot just for relaxation xD
