I'm all for this actually happening in the main story. Dante does not seem like one that enjoys a lot of responsibility, but he would probably do better than the other bro. That also gives us the differences between Half Demon + Human = Son 1 ||| Half demon + demon = ???? (maybe it's time for a Daughter of the Spawn of Sparda?)

Also where did Chris Redfield get a kid? I keep hoping him and Jill make some super antibodied babies, but it has not happened so far.

That Uncle Chris meme is the gift that keeps giving and hopefully Capcom will give a nod to it someday!

If its any "comfort" as twins Dante and Vergil have (near) identical genetics and Dante has basically been acting as a surrogate father to Nero between DMC4 and DMC5. After all Nero is basically emulating Dante right down to his business!

But yeah as Dante has shown with Patty and Nero; along with Vergil being downright hostile and abusive from the get go, Dante would likely be a much better father figure by virtue of not only being a good father but not being a BAD FATHER unlike Vergil.

You can't really judge Dante by his demeanor most of the time. Nero is actually really good at showing Dante's duality, as Nero tends to keep pushing Dante to the point where Dante MUST act seriously to get his point to Nero. (Obvious example: When Dante told Nero that Vergil is his father).

Although this might go without saying considering both DMC1 and DMC2 are canon. Its possible that the only reason we have DMC3(ish) style Dante back at all is due to him being happy that he has rediscovered his blood family.

While it may seem ironic it actually isn't unrealistic by 3DPD standards actually as well. Research "Hybristophilia" for example. Likely doesn't help that Vergil dresses; and acts, like nobility (hello Hypergamy!) despite not having a job unlike his debt ridden brother Dante.

Addendum: If you look at source material - Apparently V mugged people to get the money needed to hire Morrison -> Dante. I'm not certain if Vergil has ever held a demeaning human job.

Honestly, I was on board after finishing DmC and was really curious to see a sequel-- but that all went out the window when DMC5 was announced. Lol
The reboot just doesnt compare.

I love DMC's dante and i definitly loved that game what i miss is that i used to be great in dmc games and with this new ultra complex fighting combos and the lack of a proper dash/dodge i am a literal garbage, i love the game, i hate the fighting style (i havent played dante yet, maybe he will save it for me)
PS: the game is on my main steam lol
