TIL: You can parry Fury with Boost Knuckle.
Yes. You can stop his claw strikes with a perfectly timed Boost Knuckle. It makes the parry sound then catches him in the chest and sends him skyward.

But that is infinitely less hilarious than parrying him with the second slowest attack Nero has.

Can you guys please elaborate on that?
Furies and Judecca are the # 1 enemies I absolutely hate and have problems wtih in this game. Especially Fury.
I found no way to stay Stylish (gain Style rank) against them.
judecca because they teleport away after a few sec or after getting 1-2 hits. And Fury because the teleport from every possible directions randomly, unpredictably and with no consistent pattern with varied random timing. Also they teleport after 1-2 seconds/hits and even invulnerable when you see them standing.

With Nero and Dante- how do I really fight them?
With Nero I can't get them on their backs often enough. And parry is really hard because of how slow Nero's attacks. Especially when they enter 2nd more aggressive phase.

Dante has Ice Age - which helps but only does tiny bit of damage - before they jump back and teleport instantly. So you can NEVER punish them.

What exactly should I do with Nero and Dante - can you give me as many tools against them?

Holy crap. First time fighting Fury with V in Bloody Palace. He makes Fury look like a b*tch.

The main trick to beating Fury isn't to block them, it's to parry them. After you strike their claw with your weapon during their attack animation, they will do a backflip, then stand there examining their hand as they question what you just did (they have a very visible look of confusion).

During this time period, they are distracted and you can set up basically anything on them.

For Nero, I like to parry them with Shuffle or Combo C. For Dante, Balrog punches.

----------------

For Judecca, do NOT chase them around. pepper them with whatever ranged options you have to inflate style, and wait for them to attack. Once they attack, get in there and either perform an attack that triggers a ground bounce or a launch. Judecca only does its combo breaker if it is in a "soft knockdown" state, such as those caused by Red Queen and Rebellion's standard combo. If the knockdown causes them to bounce off the ground, they will NOT combo break you. Likewise if they are in the air.

For Judecca, I like doing Red Queen Combo D into Red Queen Combo B into Buster.

For Dante, I'm still trying to figure out his best hard knockdown tools, but I find that the ice wave into lightning orbs into DT Revolver rips its HP apart nicely.

There's a really good video posted on YT for dealing specifically with Furies but one thing that may help you initially is a loaded blue rose shot will flip them onto their backs :)

What I usually do to destroy Judecca is Double-Kalina Ann Mega Cascade with DT - hitting them combined with other enemies. That usually 1 shots them (at least on SOS and down) or at least leaves them with little HP.
But if I miss or get staggered - I'm screwed.
Still laser beam or SDT is my go-to plan against them...
How do you stun them for a long combo? (more than 1-2 hits)

My problem with Fury is that even if I parry them with Ice Age - or anything else like Revolver- they will back away a lot - which makes it hard to close in on them - then they will only take 1-2 attacks before teleporting away.
Cavaliere is 100% useless against them as they will flee before the 1st hit finishes and surely before the 2nd.

I don't know how to reliably parry them as the "sound cue" and actual appearance and actual attack are so random in their timing that it's basically a gamble. And They attack so swiftly -while catching you BEFORE or AFTER your attack windup/recovery. So unless it's constant attack-frames like Revolver or Ice Age that hits many times in a row in a frame (something Nero doesn't have) and Dante have a few - it won't parry.
Also when they move to their 2nd phase - they appear from 360 and 3 dimensions - coming from anywhere - so it's impossible to know where to aim your block/parry/royal release. The camera also makes it really hard. (they can come from down/up/back and combo all directions. They also STUN-LOCK combo you...

The first mistake you're making is that you're probably closing on them with an attack. Do not do this. You want Fury in the air or in hard knockdown state asap. They will combo break on the ground in short order.

Don't try to parry every attack they make. While that's the most stylish way to do it, it's not the safest. Keep moving and parry a few different attacks, either its startup attack that leads to it teleporting right into your face with no dashy sillyness, or the cross slash at the end of their strings.

What do you mean here exactly? What exactly should I do and not do.
How can I get a hard-knockdown state?
How can I get them countered in the air or throw them into he air?

What do after I parry? Because they do a backflip of sort and get a huge distance. It's especially hard to punish if you are stuck in recovery or if the terrain and enemies are in the way. Then they warp after 1-2 attacks/seconds...

Okay so you mean the early attack when they appear - invulnerable - then show off the red claw - then disappear - appear in melee & slash you in the face?
The the "cross slash" you mean when they appear above your head and do an overhead drop attack - like "helm-splitter"?

Basically: I need to find the best weapons to Parry with Dante and Nero. What attacks/abilities should to use. Then then best weapons/attacks to punish/drop/lift in the air.

Most attacks that knock down trigger a soft knockdown. This includes Overture-Away, Streak, Shuffle, Split, Double down, etc.

Attacks that trigger a hard knockdown are a bit more rare. You'll mostly notice it on Hell Antenora, where they go down and they STAY down. Hard Way, Red Queen Combo D, Overture-Down, Boost Knuckle-Air, Rawhide-Breakage, and some Busters trigger it. You'll know it if the attack hitting them when they're already downed causes them to bounce off the ground.

If you want to cheese Fury, knocking it down with Combo D, and then repeatedly doing Overture-Down on it will 100-0 it.

For approaching it, run in. You have a MASSIVE opening, but the instant it gets hit, that opening is going to shrink incredibly fast, because Fury will enter hitstun, and then promptly teleport out because it's been in hitstun too long, or left it at any point. Get in and promptly get it to the floor or skyward.

For attacks, Combo C in DT with Red Queen is the best way to coat yourself in 360 degrees of parry, but takes some setup. Shuffle is the quick reflexes option. Helter Skelter works if you know the direction but not the timing iirc, but I don't feel comfortable trying it.

---------

And yes, those are the two I usually parry.
