Mission 2 ending cutscene with V's EX Costume bug

After I defeat the Goliath in Mission 2 and get the cutscene where V shows up and kills the Goliath, for some unknown reason V is ALWAYS in his green EX costume.

I've edited the cutscene settings so that all characters, including V are set to their standard outfits, but he still appears in his green outfit.

This is strange as it only happens in the Mission 2 ending cutscene, every other cutscene in other levels have him in his default outfit.
Even when I go into the Gallery and play the cutscene, he's in his standard outfit.

It's only when I play Mission 2 and watch the ending cutscene does V show up in his green outfit.

Has anyone had this issue and know how to fix it?

I've also got this issue but with Vergil stuck in his EX outfit despite changing it back to black in the gallery, I've tried re-validating the steam files, using an EX mod from nexus and uninstalling that and I tried removing files in the DMC5 folders the ones that were vergil's outfits but that soft locked the loading screens mission 19 and 20 for me. It is really bugging me

I stumbled upon my fix for the costume bug, in the start menu where dante, nero and v are standing just after you press any button instead of going to continue or the main menu go to the options tab there is another customize cutscenes tab which overwrites the one in the gallery. Hopefully you can change V's costume there and it stays -_-

I ended up figuring out this issue.
It turned out that I had the EX outfit selected when I played the Secret Mission 4(the part where V appears during Nero's 2nd mission) and it stayed selected for Nero's 2nd mission the whole time.

It was weird.
