Like why is it so hard to understand just because you and your circle wants something doesnt mean alll gamers do. All they do react angrily to everything their sheep lords say when those guys dont even know what they are talking about. Attack assain creed reviews, attack call of duty reviews, heck some attacked shadow of the tomb raider and of course, attack fifa (actually fifa needs to be attacked for different reasons) because red dead doesnt sell as much as they expected.
Comic movies are already toxic enough with marvel fanboys and some dc fanboys, seems gaming cannot escape it.
Also your joke still means nothing to me. Like I said do not know why you specifically used bethesda
And every one of publishers will follow were the money is even if it means abandoning their fanbase. Blizzard abandoned the Warcraft fanbase and made a MMO game which completely killed the Warcraft franchise. But there was no complain about it back then because people respected the game developers and publishers much more back then than they are now.
I dont even think being vocal is wrong but nowadays it is more outrage thank actual thinking then being vocal.
Just the same way people who defend micros are wrong for it, the people who defend toxic and outrage behaviour are wrong.
It doesnt need to get stupid like attacking the devs or the fans who say the opposite of what you want them to say, life is that simple
You go to any lan event , and you will see how chill and cool the community can truly be.
It's not just gamers but every community worldwide. It's just way to easy to say ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on the internet and get away with it.
Also, people not wanting fifa to do well is kinda a good thing in my opinion since EA use it as a easy to make cashcow. Microtransactions and all. If it were to not do well for once , it would force EA to actually care about the game and not abuse the "ignorant" masses.
(Also I'm not using ignorant as a insult, more so to say that most people don't follow the controversies we follow on the internet. Not until it becomes mainstream information.)
DMC5, people are making a big deal about the microtransactions, but most people really dont care about them. The vocal minority will do and believe what they please. It took almost nothing at all to show the microtransactions are non intrusive.
In Red dead redemption 2's case, again there are jerks on the internet. It's just how it is. At the end of the day , they will fade away and find something else they feel is worthy to complain about.
Lastly , it's easy to remember the bad parts of the community over the good parts of it. Conventions , Esports, communities, even the rise up against EA and Battlefront 2. Don't get me wrong, we have our bad moments, (smash 4 evo grand finals), but we have way more good then bad.
It also doesnt help that the "figureheads" of these people are terrible personalities (at least on youtube and social media who even fight with their "fans").
Concerning fifa, i dont like, its just like you said, it is a cash grab but that doesnt mean people do not enjoy the single player experience, heck most people i know who buy it are not even gamers so it sounds ignorant for people to insult anyone who buys it.
Personally I beleive any game can beat any big game regardless of if you like or rate it. Some people like fortnite thats fine i dont car, fifa same etc You just have tolearn to enjoy what you like instead of looking for confirmation from people. The same reason why I dont get how riled up people get with reviews. If you like something try it out, if not refund it.
