Selling red orbs...really Capcom?

I was about to buy the deluxe edition, no questions asked, I don't mind supporting good games and DMC games are some of the best, but then I see that the pre-order for the deluxe edition has fking 100k red orbs as a bonus? Can we please stop doing this? I know, I know...it's a single player game, it doesn't matter, but after all the BS the industry has been going through all that I'm thinking seeing those orbs "on offer" is: how much of a grind is there in the game if you just gave us THAT much?
Single or multiplayer just please stop selling power/unlocks/gameplay elements. I'm one of those "more money then time" gamers, but not once in my life have I said "hey...I wish I could pay to skip that". Just make a good game, sell some skins/costumes if you REALLY must, better yet sell expansions (witcher 3... hint hint) and everyone will be happy to give you money.

Yeah, they especially screwed up with DMC4:SE DLCs, where only one that couldn't be unlocked by playing the game was Lady/Trish costume.

Can't say I'm happy about this, but I'll overlook it because I'm way too excited for the game.

Dmc4se had red orbs to be bought but that didnt hinder the game progress in any way. Im sure it will be fine. Calm your tits.. Although i will say that its sad to see but its not gonna stop me from getting the game.

Spider man ps4 also gave you upgrade points for pre ordering it but you cant buy points in that game so im assuming this is just a bonus

I’m looking at the deluxe edition bundle price DLC and see no 100k red orbs as dlc. Meaning the 100k red orbs are just a bonus for purchasing the deluxe edition not dlc.

im pretty sure that 100k orbs will only give you a slight, and i mean SLIGHT, boost for the beginning and nothing else.

I clearly said Bonus, not DLC. Point still stands, you pay more you get an advantage...first this then what? Buy any type of orb with a little cash? I just don't want it to go down that rabbit hole, thats all.

If it bothers you that much you could just burn them all on vital stars and never use them. That way you have no advantage and no temptation to use the red orbs.

When's the last time you looked at DMC4 Special Edition's DLC?

It got them sales with DMC4 SE so of course they are going to do the same with this. No game seems safe from this kind of thing anymore.
