I mean tbh Dante pretty much has things Vergil can do at this point. He can trick on the ground now to go along with air and has his own version of summoned swords. Still, an official playable Vergil would be awesome for dat stylish weeb action.

Well in a way vergil is v so he's technically in the game. Also Dante doesn't have yamato for the entire game so how is he supposed to use dark slayer?

Go look up the Passive Balrog Switch mod if you can get it to work. It's not Dark Slayer, but it's the same "fifth style" input, and let's you switch Kick and Blow mode whenever you want.
