I'm close to it, but I have more fun playing Bloody Palace & practicing combos instead of finishing the last few V levels I have.

If not for Hell and Hell i could've gone for it.

You can use the old strategy of turning the camera so it only shows you and 1 enemy, you have to find ways to ¨cheese¨ the game.

could do it, but I'm not having fun playing V on HnH
or V in general, but his HnH missions for S rank are the only ones missing

definitely have to put in the time. one hit and you are done. On top of having to be quick and stylish.

I have literally gotten every single S rank on every single difficulty with every character (beyond what is needed for the achievement), and 'no' its not fun and its not worth your time, achievements generally arent... wish there was a way to turn them off, it just annoys me they being shown as incomplete for my favorite games cause i have OCD :(

I'm about to start HaH so I have a question.
For DMD I was able to use this strategy where I alt F4 out of the game when I get hit or die and the game would take me back to the last checkpoint and void the damage I had taken.
Will this be able to work on HaH?
KLEF Jul 8, 2019 @ 9:17am
no, cause HaH doesnt have any checkpoints

tried hell an hell out and I can now say this much
♥♥♥♥ hell and hell mode and whoever designed it
♥♥♥♥ whoever made the achievement for S ranking it

I've done it on the PS4 for the platinum, only because I've been waiting 11 years for the game

on HaH you have to get at least 5500 points by the end of the mission for an S rank. No continues gives you a 1.2x score, no hits gives you an extra 2.0x.

In other words, if by the end of the mission your score is below 5500 points and you got hit, start over.

--

Nero's missions were pretty easy for me, got all of them on my first try (He's my best character though).

The one you might have trouble with is Mission 8. You don't have a lot of enemies to fight, so you have to be extra stylish.

If your score is lower than 5500 you have to beat Phase 1 Urizen without getting hit, that counts for the No Continues bonus (As you're supposed to lose the fight against Phase 2)

Beating Phase 2 is possible, though -- Extremely hard. I've done it before, but it took me a lot of time practicing the fight and his moveset. (Tentacles have the best tracking I've ever seen in a video game)

So your best bet is not to get hit until phase 1 is over.

--

Dante is probably the easiest to S rank in HaH because you can spam Red Hot Night with Faust Hat and kill everything before you get hit. It's damn near cheating, so I avoided using it on regular missions. (I used the hell out of Faust Hat on mission 18 though, ♥♥♥♥ getting hit offscreen by Griffon.)

--

V was the annoying part for multiple reasons.

1. All his familiars die in one hit UNLESS you've summoned Nigtmare. (They're invincible while Nightmare is active)

2. He's just weak in comparison to Nero and Dante. Don't get me wrong, he feels great in Devil Hunter and lower difficulties, but the moment the enemies get a health boost, it takes forever to kill them with V. You can buff Shadow/Griffon for more damage, but in HaH you need every gauge of Devil Trigger for Nightmare so he ends up feeling underpowered.

And that's not even mentioning the overpowered stuff like Faust Hat and Buster Breakage.

3. Some of his missions are just a pain to deal with, tbh. Mission 5 has you face Riots and Nobodies in tight corridors, and those demons have a tendency of jumping at you outta nowhere for a cheap one-shot.

Mission 14 was a nightmare to me. You lose all your familiars and you can only pick one at a time for a boss gauntlet.

Problem is; Your familiars still die in one hit. Yes, you can have only one familiar and it'll get one-shotted by the boss.

To get an S rank I had to:

Pick Griffon vs Artemis and spam Devil Trigger buff.

Pick Shadow for Goliath, with Griffon.

Pick Nightmare for Cavaliere Angelo. Since I used only Griffon on the first fight, my style points were really average and I had to go no hits.

---

Aside from Phase 2 Urizen, most bosses aren't too hard to kill without taking a hit (once you learn their moveset).

Another tip I can give you; Skip unnecessary fights. The two furies in mission 12 for example. Basically every fight in mission 18 that isn't the bosses.

nearly got it !!! I only have mission 18 DMD and HAH to score then I get it I think.
I am gonna have to go farm me a lot of red orbs in mission 13 first though.

Does anyone know if the optional missions count too for the achievement ?
i.e. mission 7 and 13 done with S rank with all characters.
