There are secret endings, go for 100% and ofc the usual git gud. The only thing holding back what you can do in the game and with the combat system is your own creativity and knowledge about certain mechanics. Go watch what other people did, get inspired and just have fun.
The first playthough is the tutorial, and the real meat of the game comes from beating the harder difficulty modes you unlock, and improving your skills.
The combat has so much depth that just one playthough is only enough to scratch the surface.
It can take playing though every game in the series multiple times before you are finally a custom to Dante's vast move list.
Just look up some Combo MADs and you'll see what I'm talking about.
