The regiment policy “Intensive Cleaning Week” is your go to for farming friendship. You get it from Lvl. 3 Friendship with Levi. There is also a passive skill called “Friendship” that increases gains. You get it from being Lvl. 4 with Christa. The passive skill might only apply to gifts & conversations though.
The method I used is to activate Intensive Cleaning Week and have the person I’m trying to build Friendship with follow along on Scout Missions. The mission I used for farming is “First Scout Mission Beyond the Walls”. Since it’s one of the earlier ones, it’s pretty easy and has four battle points.
While doing these missions you should start off saving everyone to build Friendship with them post battle. Once you max Friendship with most of the characters you can just focus on building Friendship with the person following you and rush the last target on each battle. Make to check your map every so often and talk to the other characters when you see the hand-shake icon by their name. Can gain some easy friendship during conversation. Plus, you need to talk to them at some levels because they won’t gain anymore exp once you do.
After around a couple runs of “First Scout Mission Beyond the Walls”, I would recommend going to each shop and buying up all the gift items. Distribute the gifts accordingly to the characters that like them when you feel you have a good enough amount. By waiting until late game, you’ll have access to all the shops/gifts. Important to have a decent amount of Regiment Funds because you’re not going to be getting all that much by farming the scout missions over and over again.
