attack button does not work

hi, i need some help.

i’m on the utgard castle battle, the one where you get up in the middle of the night and titans are everywhere. when i get in the battlefield, my right click button, the button that i used to attack a titan does nothing. when i press it, it just uses my odm gear normally as if its a left click.

things ive tried:
refilling my gas and blades
restarting the mission
exiting the game and opening it again
restarting my computer
changing the assigned keybinds

nothing has worked and i have no idea what to do. i went back in time and tried an old mission and no luck. please help. for $60, i expected this game to actually work.

HELLO. I dont know if you still have this issue, but it is not your attack button or anything else dealing with controls. Ive had this issues for months.. and I decided to look into my controls. If you can try to press shift to lock onto a titan before you attack it, that should fix the issue. I dont know if you were just trying to right click to lock on, but you need to press shift before right clicking. Hope this helps!

hey! i tried this already and it didnt work. i did reinstall it, and it fixed the issue! the reason why i was reluctant top do that in the first place was because i didn't think my save file would carry over, according to other posts on the internet, but it did. thanks for the comment though!
