Cant get english sub titles

Hey i honestly have no idea why i cant get english subtitles on and what region to play in, im from australia

For some reason that makes literally 0 sense your selectable languages are tied to the region you select. So only selecting EU/NA will let you use english subtitles. This would mean that your connection to the servers would be so poor that even if people played multiplayer you wouldnt be able to join them consistently. But MP is dead and lobbies are 99% non existent so it doesnt do anything negative for you at this time.
