every time I hit play it goes to the start up settings I confirm the settings but the game doesn't launch then I hit play again and it goes to the start up settings and won't start the game I reinstalled it 3 times and tried shutting down my computer nothing worked if anyone can help me that would be awesome

Try running the game in windowed mode or change the resolution.

If that dont work try updating DirectX.

I had a similar trouble: the settings appears when I launched AOT2 but impossible to start the game. There is no Apply button.
In fact, in windows parameters, the font size was on 150% (recommended for this machine). When changing to 125%, it is possible to start the game.

what worked for me (as an AMD user) was rolling back the most recent driver update back, AND the most important portion was to DISABLE VIDEO PLAYBACK. For some reason the cutscenes are what's screwing up the game right now idk why, but that's what fixed my situation and I hope it fixes you. I'd say try disabling video playback FIRST, and if that doesn't work then keep video playback off but also downgrade your graphic card drivers.

The same thing is happening to me, did the resolution thing work? I uninstalled it, I will try that

I was having an issue with it crashing before it started and i went into my nvidia settings and changed display to no scaling and it works now i hope this can help

Try to update your driver or install your drivers before of last version

I have a similar problem like you. Does it say Boot Error 8000-0003?

same i just want to play the game and i open the start up and i dont have nvidia compatible so i need help plz i need help

so far for me only Japan region works all of the others errors none of settings matter which choose

just alt+tab. its running in the background most likely
