how to kill the abnormal titans?

i spent roughly 10 minutes to kill one, his nape is always hardened whenever i tried to hit it so i only deal like 40 dmg, do i need to hit other parts before aiming for the nape? i sometimes deal 800dmg to other parts but sometimes it also deal 40 so the hard skin is randomized? how do i know which one to strike first?

To kill them you'll have to aim for the other body parts.
Once you've hit every body part you go for the nape.
The reson because of that is, the Titans main focuse will be Regenerating.

If you are talking about end mission bosses who have a big health bar you need to aim to the parts w have like a green thing, then when you hit that part a few times the greem bar(like a defense bar) desapear and the you can inflic real dmg.

Abnormall and bosses have stamina bar (green one below red one). You have to hit parts with green circle'ish thing to deplete stamina. Usually 2-4 hits. When stamina is 0 - titan will fall and then you can aim to the head (with your and teammates attacks).

Tips:
- adding artillery near bosses helps a lot
- keep strong moves and use them when boss falls (for example Levi's move - usually insta kill)
