Transfer the +99 to the one-four star gear you will be upgrading (if needed)
Where do i find it?
Apply the Rainbow Drop and reinforce it again with the five +95, and one +20 swords
How do i apply the Rainbow Drop?

after you get it to 99 just reinforce it again without sacrificing gear, it'll ask you if you want to apply the rainbow drop.

In my experience after i got it to 99+ i reinforced it again without sacrifcing gear and it asked me if i wanted to use a rainbow drop. Either way it doesn't really matter, it is not like you are going to waste one, and by the time you have 99+ gear you should have more rainbow drops than what you know what to do with.

What I meant was, at +99 if you try to upgrade it it will automatically prompt you to use a Rainbow Drop, you can't not do it, we both mean the exact same thing there is no truth or lie

the +99 'thing' is the piece of gear you are updrading. For instance if you want the zero set, you upgrade the lowest form of the zero sword to +99 by using 99 duster swords. Then do it again with 5x +95 duster swords, and one +20 duster. Then you upgrade it to it's final form cloud zero
