You mean in the launcher? Knowing who the publisher is it would not surprise me at all that you'd have to fiddle with your system locale settings. Hopefully they actually patch that because the demo has that exact same problem.

Control Panel > Clock and Region > Region > Administrative > Change system locale... > Japanese > Restart PC

That's true, but the correct solution should be to create patch programs or updates at Koei Tecmo.
