Cutscenes don't play (but can be skipped)

i have just defeated Annie in the story mode and the cutscene that plays when you see the scout returning for the expedition keep freezing after a couple of second. The cutscene can be skipped but if i do so i get a black screen and nothing is happening. The game is not reported as not responding in the task manager and i have tried checking all the files are ok with steam. Anyone else is having this issue ?

I just was about to post the same exact problem! Still have not found a way around it though....Tried skipping 3 times and nothing solved it

Just found away around it for now. When relaunching the game in the first launch menu that pops up, disable "Video Playback" (This disables cutscenes from playing I believe). Not to sure if future cutscenes are going to bug out but it got me back into the "daily life" hub and I can continue the story mode

the cutscene cannot be watch even in the galery is does the same thing but thank you again i was able to go back into daily life with video playback disable
