how do i circle ?
I may be a moron, but i can't circle around the titans, every time I use Y my character just hooks the titan and charge at him, i can't reposition so i end up using tons of gas and can't get the right angle.. help me plz.. ( xbox controller )

You have to be moving in a direction once hooked. If you let go of the stick you will automatically charge. You can press A (xbox) to charge faster if you like as more speed = more damage.

Do you have control assist on? If so, go into options under the "game" category and turn it off. It automatically starts boosting you straight at the titan from whatever angle you hooked it, automatically expending gas boosting the entire way and not letting you maneuver. It's really more of a hindrance than a help.

You have to turn off control assist under settings. If its on you cant circle around the titans

Well, it removes any skill (fun?). Aim at the part and charge. The rest does the game for you.

Right? It's like automatic mode in devil may cry. I have no idea why developers add these modes. I don't have anything against adding accessibility for people who don't want to spend hours learning and practicing, but in nearly every case it actually makes the game harder or even unplayable...

Haha, that's hilarious. I seem to remember that being a "feature" in the first game as well, and being equally confused by how stupid it was.
