El juego es un clásico de LucasArts, muy bueno. El problema es que la versión que vende Steam no tiene los textos en español, como tiene la versión física del juego para PC como se comercializó en españa.

Pentium a 90Mhz. Ese PC tenía cuando lo jugué hace tantos años, que el Maestro Yoda estaba de Jedi en prácticas.

Hoy en día, no creo que haya dispositivos móviles en el que no pueda funcionar por quedarse cortos, y es posible que en muchos modelos se pasen de frenada.

Eso me pasó a mi al querer rejugarlo así, en plan "recuerdo de mis años mozos" y el juego crasheó vilmente a la hora y poco de estar jugando.

Entre que ya es de otra generación (muchos jugadores no habían ni nacido entonces), que en un pc normalito se cuelga y que hay cientos de juegos muchísmo mejores a día de hoy... no se puede recomendar.

Cuando lo jugué hace mas de 20 años, bombazo... lo acabé dos veces. Hoy ya, es para dejar en una estantería y hablar de él con los colegas.

No recomendado.

Fallos continuos en el audio. Los dialogos no salen correctamente

Parece que hay que pasar la partida del tiron (no parece muy largo el juego) no encuentro forma de salvar partida.

Es una version muy cutre del juego. No consigo sacar el menu con ninguna tecla, por lo tanto no puedo guardar partida. Conforme vas hablando con los pjs algunas opciones desaparecen y te quedas bloqueado. Injugable, vamos.

Por suerte me costo muy barato, pero debi pedir el reintegro cuando pude.

Do yourself a favor and play the ScummVM version, this 'remaster' or whatever they call it is nowhere near the quality of the original game. Whatever engine they use for audio sounds terrible!

Edit: While I still don't recommend this version of the game solely due to the faulty audio re-creation that sounds nothing like the original, the game itself is otherwise fantastic. One of the best point-and-click adventure games from the 90s.

I enjoyed this game way back in the day and I wanted to have a good trip down memory lane, but for some reason the voice-overs and SFX are not even working.
I have trudged every forum, downloaded at least 2 app engines, and checked the game files... only to find out that the STEAM VERSION is literally missing a file. Was not too happy about that in the slightest.
How important was that file?
Oh just the file that has ALL the voice, SFX, and some of the town/level files. Rendering the game unplayable. I don't know what happened since the last time I played it, but it was obviously a step in the WRONG direction.

Until this issue I cannot recommend nor condone the purchase of this as you are not getting the full extent of the version you are paying for.

Edit 2 years later (2024):
Ended up buying the GOG version and running it on SCUMMVM and that was the best option!
This version is missing the key file Atlantis.000 which doesn't allow the "talkie" files to be read.

So, my statement still stands... DO NOT BUY the Steam Version if you are looking for the "Talkie" version.

The game is good. However, the quality of this port is questionable. Seeing as the original DOS files are included, you may have a better experience using those with ScummVM, as I have.
Also, I really do not recommend getting this here. Disney's newest ToS is required, and apparently signing those gives Disney a license to get away with whatever they want, including wrongful death.

I LOVE the original game.
The soundtrack was mystical and evoked wonder; the game's sound effects were well timed and fit the objects and actions.

THIS -is not- that game. Someone stripped all of that away and replaced it with a poorly made midi sountrack, and almost none of the games sound effects are present.

The original title had an ambiance like no other; this re-release is a poor representation of the work of talented programmers who made an amazing title back when pixelized point and click adventures first hit the gaming world.

Don't waste your money on this digital release.
Find the original game on CD or a .zip file, and download SCUMMVirtualMachine to play it in it's high quality original format.
