Help me, im stuck!

I play with Sophia by my side and i am inside the german U-Boat. There is a steering wheel where Sophia was held captive. I used the key to unlock it. But when i try to steer the Boat Indy says "The Rudder´s locked!". Is there something i forgot to do?
Plz help.

Ok i found the problem. You NEED to push/pull every control, even if its already shown on your navigation screen.

For the ones still stuck with this problem... The rudder will be always locked if the sub is moving backwards.

hi guys, you can only use the rudder when you move forward - backward it will not work. - you can also only switch between fwd and bckwd when you put speed to zero. hope that helps.
